What an excitement here at KölnSKY.
The kick-off event for KÖLNSKY FULL OF STARS is fast approaching…
Our KölnSKY will indeed soon be full of big stars.
No fewer than 10 top German winemakers and 3 top chefs will illuminate our rooms.

Sönke Höltgen is receiving a visit from two more top chefs.
For one thing, Matthias Pietsch – head chef at Restaurant Redüttchen in Bonn-Bad Godesberg, as well as from the „rockstar of the kitchen,“ Sergio Herman, who has earned 2 stars with his restaurant THE JANE in Antwerp.
But not only that, Michiel de Bruyn, head chef of Sergio Herman,
arrives 2 days before TSFOS to help with the preparations.
The wine deliveries for our big day are arriving gradually.
The large bottles for the BIG BOTTLE MENU in the evening will be set aside.
and the wines for the afternoon tasting are chilling, ready.
Yes and then a ... accompanies us ntv Film crew for a logistics report, two full days. Interviews will be given „in between“ and the camera will be running the whole time. Unusual and incredibly exciting for us and our team.

After the final refinements, KÖLNSKY FULL OF STARS is launching.
with the wine tasting from 13:30 to 17:30.
All tasting stands are occupied, all wine climate cabinets are filled,
In the kitchen, the ‚Kölsche Tapas‘ are being prepared, and the service staff are receiving their final instructions.
to the proceedings and the approximately 100 wine enthusiasts travel up relaxed to our 28th floor.
A cheerful chat and tasting ends at 5:30 PM.
Now it's time for our team to put the pedal to the metal. In an hour, the tables for the KölnSKY FULL OF STARS evening event must be elegantly set and decorated. No problem, our team of professionals will tackle the challenge with ease. And ntv is still diligently involved. They are asking questions about the procedure and organisation, and filming our team as they set up and stock the tables. The preparations in the kitchen are also being filmed.
KÖLNSKY FULL OF STARS Big Bottle Meal
Sergio Herman arrived this afternoon, took a tour of our hallowed halls in the KölnSKY with us, and was enthusiastic about our magnificent view over the city. But then he had to quickly head into the kitchen.
Promptly at 7 PM, we open our doors for the second part of TSFOS. 120 guests raise a toast with a delicious aperitif to a lovely evening and first enjoy the magnificent view with a small selection of finger food, crafted by Michiel de Bruyn.
Now we will accompany our guests to their tables, we'll play „A Sky Full of Stars“ by Coldplay and after a brief welcome from host Michael Stern, the first course will be served. ENJOY YOUR MEAL! The winemakers are seated amongst our guests at the tables, engaging in exciting conversations and gradually presenting the wines that correspond to each course.
None other than Sebastian Bordthäuser, the cheerful personality among sommeliers, delighted us and our guests with his profound wine knowledge.
Shortly before the main course, one of the guests – the wonderful Bernd Stelter – chats merrily into the microphone and tells us all what he has „Googled“ under the heading of ‚enjoyment‘. A truly cheerful and spontaneous interlude, which had us all holding our sides with laughter. Thank you very much, Mr. Stelter!
Around 11 PM, we will serve dessert. Our entire KölnSKY kitchen crew, including those in charge, Sönke Höltgen, Sergio Herman, and Matthias Pietsch, will be bid farewell to thunderous applause. A few autographs will be signed on the menus and photos will be taken as mementos. The chefs will mingle with the guests for a while longer.
Now, to round things off, there's an hour of wonderful live music followed by the DJ, who will be warming things up for those of you keen to dance and party until 3 AM.

An additional €800 from the spontaneous auction of a 6-litre bottle of Pinot Noir from # Meyer Näkel Winery, ..., with the signatures of all the evening's celebrity chefs and the producer, are added!

Incidentally, the 6 litres of the most delicious 12009 Spätburgunder Sonnenberg were all drunk together by the 120 guests before the auction!
