CleverReach
This website uses CleverReach for sending newsletters. The provider is CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Mühlenstr. 43, 26180 Rastede. CleverReach is a service with which newsletter dispatch can be organised and analysed. The data you enter for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter (e.g. email address) is stored on CleverReach's servers in Germany or Ireland.
Our newsletters, sent via CleverReach, allow us to analyse the behaviour of newsletter recipients. This includes analysing how many recipients opened the newsletter and how often each link within the newsletter was clicked. Furthermore, using so-called conversion tracking, it's possible to analyse whether a pre-defined action (e.g., purchasing a product on our website) took place after clicking a link in the newsletter. For more information on data analysis by CleverReach newsletters, please visit: https://www.cleverreach.com/de/funktionen/reporting-und-tracking/.
Data processing is carried out on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The lawfulness of any data processing that has already occurred will remain unaffected by the withdrawal.
If you do not wish to be analysed by CleverReach, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide a corresponding link in every newsletter message. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter directly on the website.
The data you have provided to us for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from both our servers and CleverReach's servers after you unsubscribe. Data stored by us for other purposes (e.g. e-mail addresses for the members' area) will remain unaffected.
Further details can be found in CleverReach's data protection regulations at: https://www.cleverreach.com/de/datenschutz/.

Once the respective purpose ceases to apply or these periods expire, the corresponding data will be routinely deleted or its processing restricted in accordance with legal regulations.

You can always lodge a complaint with your competent supervisory authority. Your competent supervisory authority will depend on the federal state of your residence, your employment, or the alleged infringement.

Google Ads and Google Conversion Tracking
This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising programme run by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”).
Within Google AdWords, we use so-called conversion tracking. If you click on an advertisement placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is set. Cookies are small text files that the internet browser stores on the user's computer. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for the personal identification of users. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognise that the user clicked on the advertisement and was redirected to this page.
Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked across the websites of Ads customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to provide conversion statistics to Ads customers who have opted in to conversion tracking. Customers are informed of the total number of users who have clicked on their ad and been redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users. If you do not wish to be tracked, you can opt out of this use by easily disabling the Google Conversion Tracking cookie via your internet browser under user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
The storage of “conversion cookies” and the use of this tracking tool are based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both its web offering and its advertising.
More information about Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking can be found in Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.
You can set your browser to inform you when cookies are being set, to allow cookies only in individual cases, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general, and to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. The functionality of this website may be restricted if cookies are deactivated.
Google YouTube
YouTube with enhanced privacy
Our website uses plugins from the YouTube website. The pages are operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.
We use YouTube in enhanced privacy mode. According to YouTube, this mode means that YouTube does not store any information about visitors to this website before they watch the video. However, the transfer of data to YouTube partners is not necessarily excluded by the enhanced privacy mode. In this way, YouTube establishes a connection to the Google DoubleClick network, regardless of whether you watch a video.
As soon as you start a YouTube video on our website, a connection to YouTube's servers is established. This informs the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to directly associate your browsing behaviour with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
Furthermore, YouTube can store various cookies on your device when you start a video. With the help of these cookies, YouTube can obtain information about visitors to our website. This information is used, among other things, to collect video statistics, improve user-friendliness, and prevent fraudulent activities. The cookies remain on your device until you delete them.
If applicable, further data processing operations may be triggered after starting a YouTube video, over which we have no influence.
The use of YouTube is for the purpose of presenting our online services in an engaging way. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
For further information about YouTube's data protection policy, please refer to their privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.
Using Google reCAPTCHA
We use the Google reCaptcha service to determine whether a human or a computer is making a specific entry in our contact or newsletter form. Google checks the following data to determine whether you are human or a computer: IP address of the end device used, the website you are visiting with us and on which reCaptcha is integrated, the date and duration of the visit, the detection data of the type of browser and operating system used, Google account if you are logged into Google, mouse movements on the reCaptcha areas, as well as tasks where you have to identify images. The legal basis for the described data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in this data processing to ensure the security of our website and protect us from automated entries (attacks).
Automated decision-making
This website does not use automated decision-making, including profiling, in accordance with Article 22 GDPR.
Change to our privacy policy
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy to ensure it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the privacy policy, e.g. when introducing new services. The new privacy policy will then apply to your subsequent visits.
Data Protection Questions
